KDOT is briefing local public officials as the design plans for the K-7 and I-70 Interchange develop and public meetings have been held for the project in Bonner Springs. The most recent public meeting occurred on Thursday, January 26,2012 at Bonner Springs High School (100 McDanield) to discuss the current status of the project with the public in an open house format, using short presentations, detailed project maps, and other illustrations. KDOT will use postcard invitations, newspaper announcements in local papers, this project website, www.twitter.com/KansasCityKDOT, and www.facebook.com/NEKansasKDOT to announce future public meetings for the project.
