The Schedule

The preliminary design process began in 2007 and will take several years to complete. KDOT has identified the funding needed to complete final design plans for Phases 1-3 of the interchange. Construction activities will start with Phase 2 and are anticipated to begin in late 2012. Public meetings will be used to keep the community up to speed over the course of the project.
